Tic-Toc Vignettes

There is something about pulling together a variety of items to create a lovely little collectible vignette.  The rich expression of individuality and personality is part of what makes a house a home or a studio a haven.

Here is my latest vignette...having recently discovered that I adore vintage clocks...especially alarm clocks.  I sort of especially love that these are not working since I'm trying to live more in the now and having each one display a different time helps remind me that I'm right here, right now.

I'm trying to decide whether to put a vintage mirror or hand-embroidered linen runner or doily under these...what do you think?  Will it detract from the collection or add to the charm of the vignette?

Royal Typewriter ISO Cozy Vintage Home

Don't you love it when you go to a flea market or estate sale and you find an amazing treat?  Look at this amazing find...so perfect for a writer's office or artist's studio, or just as a collectible piece in a home vignette. (Yes, it does have quite a bit of grimy patina and could use just a tiny bit of clean up.) This in a nutshell says Vintage.  If you are also ISO patina'd Royal Typewriter, contact us.  No, it is NOT in working condition and would need to have repairs.  Some parts (ribbon cover, for example) are missing.  All keys are intact.

 (has glass sides).  Needs some TLC but is looking
for a good home!  This baby is HEAVY.
